Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari was built in honor of Swami Vivekananda who attained enlightenment on the rock. Vivekananda has a huge presence in Kanyakumari, deservingly so. He was a great soul who believed that God is the sum total of all souls. The rock memorial is accessible only by ferry boats.
